Hampleton Partners Welcomes Michael Brecht as Sector Principal for Autotech and Smart Mobility

Hampleton Partners, the international M&A and corporate finance advisory firm for software and technology companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Brecht as Sector Principal for Autotech, Mobility, Infrastructure, and Energy.

With more than 25 years of executive experience in IT and software services, digital commerce, and smart mobility and infrastructure solutions, Michael is globally known as a panel host and keynote speaker at events ranging from e-mobility and EV summits to the World Economic Forum Seoul.

He was a partner with German IT Services company CompuNet before selling to GE Capital in the 90s. Subsequently, he ran their IT Solutions arm in the UK and grew the business through two acquisitions within two years. Michael spent six years with his family in Australia, his second home, while working in digital transformation and international consulting.

After returning to Europe, he became CEO of scheduling champion Doodle and started working as a strategy advisor for digital media companies, European mid-caps and entrepreneurs. Since 2022 Michael has been the publisher of an award-winning lifestyle platform called MOTION Magazine, presenting emotional success stories on future mobility topics from all over Europe. He has also been involved in the CAS Smart Mobility Management movement in St. Gallen University, Switzerland, working on mobility topics with his peers at the Institute of Mobility.

Fluent in German, French and English, Michael is a keen sportsman and marathon runner, and now lives south of Munich in the Bavarian alps.
