M&A Associate - Frankfurt

Hampleton is an international technology Mergers and Acquisitions and corporate finance advisory firm with a presence in London, Frankfurt, Stockholm and San Francisco specialising in Automotive Tech & Mobility, Digital Commerce, Enterprise Software, Fintech, Healthtech and IT Services. ​

To support Hampleton’s successful growth, we are currently looking for a full-time Associate in Frankfurt with availability to start as soon as possible. ​

We offer an excellent working climate in a highly dynamic team based in Frankfurt and London with market standard terms. Your tasks will include leading analysts and interns, creating financial models, valuations, drafting marketing documents and conducting company and market research. You will work in small teams with direct exposure to senior directors, while benefitting from in-depth project involvement and management with a high level of international client exposure. 

As an Associate your responsibilities include:​

  • Support the day-to-day management of projects; responsibility for delivery of project tasks
  • Provide leadership and supervision to analysts/interns in your area 
  • Preparation of company and industry research
  • Preparation of Hampleton research reports 
  • Preparation of market and competitive analysis and industry screenings for potential acquisition targets/buyers 
  • Preparation of company presentations, pitch books, valuations and information memorandums
  • Support Hampleton origination activities

Your skillset/requirements:

  • Business acumen and situational awareness skills developed through relevant M&A experience
  • You hold a bachelor's/master's degree from a secondary education institution with outstanding academic results
  • You are team-oriented, motivated, committed, proactive and capable of working independently
  • You are fluent in English and German, with additional foreign language skills a plus but not required
  • You have proficiency in MS Office and research databases
  • You have strong analytical skills and a very high attention to detail

M&A Senior Analyst - Frankfurt

Hampleton is an international technology Mergers and Acquisitions and corporate finance advisory firm with a presence in London, Frankfurt, Stockholm and San Francisco specialising in Automotive Tech & Mobility, Digital Commerce, Enterprise Software, Fintech, Healthtech and IT Services.

To support Hampleton’s growth, we wish to recruit an additional full-time Senior Analyst to be based in Frankfurt.

Hampleton offers a dynamic, entrepreneurial working environment. You will work in small teams directly with senior director colleagues, while benefitting from in-depth project involvement and management with high international client exposure.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Assistance to senior directors on live mandates and pitches
  • Preparation of pitch books, financial models, valuations and information memorandums
  • Preparation of Hampleton M&A reports
  • Preparation of company and industry research
  • Preparation of market and competitive analysis and industry screenings for potential acquisition targets/buyers
  • Assistance to directors and the team for events, origination and other operations

Your skillset/requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's/Master’s degree with outstanding academic results
  • At least 2 years of relevant practical sell-side M&A experience, preferably from the TMT sector 
  • Fluent in German and English, with fluency in another language as a plus  
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel and research databases
  • Strong analytical skills and very high attention to detail

Marketing Executive - Frankfurt

The firm’s core offering is advisory services in the sale of companies or significant equity stakes of enterprises in its focus areas: Automotive Tech, Digital Commerce, Enterprise Software, IT & Business Services, as well as related technology sectors.

To support Hampleton’s successful growth, we are seeking to appoint a Marketing Executive for our Frankfurt office.

As a Marketing Executive, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the Managing Partner to deliver and implement the company’s marketing objectives and strategy (including post-deal activities and client outreach, social media, PR, website and events etc) to meet KPIs.
  • Prepare and execute events e.g. webinars, in-person and external events.
  • Day-to-day management of the company website including uploading content such as reports, blogs, press releases and event information.
  • Manage marketing resources and brand assets.
  • Support the Managing Partner as required by liaising with external service providers and agencies e.g. social media, PR and website activities.
  • CRM management and database updates.
  • General administrative support to cover for Part-Time Office Administrator e.g. provide assistance to welcome visitors to the Frankfurt office as required, dealing with incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries, liaising with managing agents in view of building maintenance, making travel arrangements.

Your skillset/requirements:
Required

  • Degree and/or equivalent work experience (in events, marketing or communications).
  • You are native in German and fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Customer-led and passionate about marketing with strong understanding of creation, monitoring and analysis of marketing metrics.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to work.
  • Team-oriented, highly self-motivated, committed and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.

Desired

  • Experience with Content Management Systems, CRM (Zoho) and Adobe Creative Suite.

Office & Marketing Administrator - Frankfurt

To support Hampleton’s successful growth, we are seeking to appoint an Office & Marketing Administrator to support the marketing activities and general administration of the team in Frankfurt.

As an Office & Marketing Administrator, your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with event management from inception to closing
  • Assisting with visitor greeting and in-person event coordination, once physical events resume
  • CRM management and database updates 
  • Uploading content such as reports, blogs or press releases to the website
  • Curating and editing visual assets e.g. images for the website
  • Monitoring Hampleton’s online presence, flagging any page errors or bad website health
  • Supporting with research into potential new marketing activities and promotion
  • Supporting administrative marketing requests including the sourcing of marketing materials
  • Answering any administrative inbound email/phone queries regarding report downloads or events
  • Carrying out database backups and assisting in the regular clean-up of various Sharepoint folders
  • Administrative support with office management and HR
